The Egyptian Alchemical Path is a three phase journey up the Nile:

Aswan: The Mother (3-4 days)

Beginning at the first cataract of the Nile, explore the temple of Isis, Elephantine island, the tombs of the Nobles and the unfinished obelisk in this friendly city. Optional excursions include boarding a felucca at sunset to experience the timeless beauty of this enigmatic, mysterious river; day tips south to the temples of Abu Simbel; visits to Nubian villages and more.

Heading north, visit the Nile-side temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu either by private car or multi day cruise to the second phase of your journey in Luxor.

Luxor: The Royal (3-4 days)

As the Royal capital of Egypt for 1500 years visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor in the city centre, before venturing further a field to the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens to experience the breathtaking tombs here.

Make a day trip by private car to the temples of Dendera, and Abydos, journeying through rural Egypt and colourful local villages.

Dawn balloon rides, cooking classes and sunset felucca excursions are also available.

Make your way to the third phase of your alchemical journey in Giza by evening flight to Cairo or an overnight sleeper train.

Giza: The Galactic (2-3 days)

Visit the fascinating pyramids on the Giza Plateau, and ponder who really built these sole remaining wonders of the world - and why.

Make a day trip by private car south to Dashur and Saqqara, to explore more pyramids like the Red, the Bent, and the Step including a visit the underground Serapeum. Spend half a day at the recently opened GEM Museum - the worlds largest museum dedicated to one civilsation now home to the the entire King Tut collection of artifacts.

Dive deep into the culture of Cairo and visit the Coptic neighbourhoods and the Khan Al Khalili bazaar.

Egypt was known as “Al Khemet” the “Black Land” in antiquity for the rich fertile soil brought forth by the annual flooding of the worlds longest river. Al Khemet became the word “alchemy” symbolising the transformation of lead into gold - the black earth of the Nile representing the darkness of the human experience, alchemized into gold though consciousness, awareness and unconditional love.
